We're parents of kids with special needs. We built AMPD because our kids deserved the same sports experience as everyone else. They deserved the best, not the leftovers.

About AMPD Athletics

Our Story

We're parents of kids with special needs, and we built AMPD out of necessity. They say necessity is the mother of invention, and this program is proof.

We wanted our kids to learn the same valuable skills that other kids get from sports: teamwork, confidence, and friendship. Instead, we kept seeing our kids get the leftovers, like hand-me-down equipment and scraps of opportunity.

So we decided to build something different, a program for our kids and yours that is the best of the best.

Let's roll! Athletes hit the lanes with their buddies for an exciting bowling experience filled with friendship, laughter, and celebration!

Building Skills: Accuracy, endurance, hand-eye coordination, and teamwork.

One of our favorite programs! It's baseball with a twist — we KICK the ball! Whether indoors or outdoors, kickball brings nonstop smiles and excitement!

Game Time: Kick, run the bases, score runs, and cheer on teammates!
Everyone Plays: Fun, adaptable games for athletes of all abilities.
Building Skills: Running, coordination, teamwork, and social interaction.

Get ready to dribble, pass, and SCORE! Our soccer program combines friendly competition with exciting challenges that keep everyone moving!

Building Skills: Balance, mobility, coordination, and teamwork.
